Exercise Medical Endeavour 2024

Exercise Medical Endeavor is is an annual Tri-Service event run by 243 Multi-Role Medical Regiment and sponsored by Wessex Reserve Forces and HQ South West. The 2024 event ran over the weekend of 7th and 8th June.

The event invites all healthcare establishments across the south west and west Hampshire to take part in a two day look at life event.

This year’s event saw 104 competitors in thirteen teams of eight. The competition was fierce and the energy was high!

A huge range of activities was undertaken including Care under Fire, Pre Hospital Treatment, Tracking and Survival, and Communication.

There were also stands covering Recovery and Aviation.

On the Sunday the final race took place.

Royal Devon University Healthcare Exeter were the winners, with Southmead Bristol as runners up and Somerset Foundation Trust Taunton and Yeovil taking third place.

The event culminated in an exciting final race on Sunday, with Royal Devon University Healthcare Exeter emerging as the victorious team, followed closely by Southmead Bristol as runners up and Somerset Foundation Trust Taunton and Yeovil taking third place.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, confirming Exercise Medical Endeavor as a truly unforgettable experience.
